BOO series
BOO is a series of side tables or sitting objects composed of six bubbles. The forms of the individual elements can be influenced, yet they primarily emerge from chance interactions of external forces.
Baumann defines the framework within which the shapes evolve during the
production process, allowing each piece to find its own composition.
The gentle translucency of the resin lends the forms a subtle radiance and sense of fluidity, while their smooth, matte surfaces invite touch. Resting on four polished brass spheres, the organic, asymmetrical volumes achieve a delicate balance between stability and motion — between intention and coincidence.
